yellow-hair caterpillar



I chanced upon yet another caterpillar which looked just like the earlier one I found (pictured below). The main difference is the colour of the hairs. I still do not know what species this is and my search on the internet has yielded nothing so far. But i'll continue to look and in the meantime, would appreciate any tips from avid caterpillar gurus.

  2. Hi there! I found this tree with atlas moth eggs on it and weeks later I saw the same caterpillar on the tree. But I'm unsure though, it looks very different from the atlas moth caterpillars I found on google.

  3. Ok apparently this is the caterpillar of the pale tussock moth. I wonder what happened to all the atlas moth caterpillars...
